Edit August 6, 2022: This was okay, but I just skimmed for time on this re-read. It runs extremely long. As I recall, this was a mess of a jumble, in his very prolific period of very long books, and this is not among the top tier. There is not much of an idea here, other than the gimmick of a guy who cannot sleep, mixed up in the usual weird supernatural plot devices that King likes to play around with, but which he really does not do very well. So it lacks any impact, or cohesion, or the real world suspense that he is adept at when he sticks to actual situations of worldly peril that a normal person with normal fears can relate to. And why it has to run so damn long is inexplicable, other than that his editors are terrified of telling him to cut it down. I currently have this ranked at #7017 on my ranked list of best-read books lately.

Aside from loving shared books, my main passion in life is supporting the human rights work of my good friend, Anni Cyrus. 💖 💖 Her life story of survival as a childhood refugee is astounding, and quite moving!

The Big Tech cabal is all about shadow-banning narrative agenda suppression against real freedom truth-tellers, but please look her up anyway on Google, DuckDuckGo, and YouTube, etc., and make a compassionate judgment. You can also follow her on Facebook and Instagram, among other platforms.
