My sister's boyfriend Graeme, gave a bag of books to my mum for her to sell at a car boot. I spotted the bag, got excited about the books and my mum let me have them for bookcrossing...wooo!
I loved Goosebumps when I was a kid. I had loads of them at one point! Loved the t.v show as well :)

In the year 2000, I was 12 and starting to tire of Goosebumps. I remember buying the first 2000 series book and after that I was done with Goosebumps. Adult books had started to catch my eye, I'd out grown Goosebumps.
One of the nicest things about re-reading this series was looking at the Goodreads reviews for the books. So many people have written, that these were the books that got them hooked on reading as a kid. Stein may not be the best writer in the world but he got kids reading and that was really important. Goosebumps will always hold a special place in my childhood memories.
I'd never read any of these stories before and none of them were anything special. Scream School was my favourite of the three but I guessed what was really happening about half way through.
I'll say goodbye to Goosebumps now, as it may be a while before I pick one up again. It's been fun!

CONTROLLED RELEASE NOTES:
Welcome to the 90s! Okay so annoyingly the only Goosebumps book I had left was from series 2000 but the original series was pretty big in the 90s. So I spent my time reading Goosebumps, dancing to the Spice Girls, playing Pogs and a whole host of other cool things pictured in the colouring book. Hope you enjoy this trip back in time :)
Thanks, redfox5. Gotta laugh at some of the stuff turning up.
