I really enjoyed her earlier book the Time Travelers Wife, and I had read good reviews of this one, but it just didn't do it for me. She seemed to be trying too hard to hold the story together and heighten the suspense. I rather think she was unsucessful. My sister has picked it up, let's see what she thinks

Very enjoyable....a gentle but steady horror.....look forward to passing it on....I belive the book is already spoken for...can't wait to find the next book by Ms Niffenegger!
