My spare copy finally registered and very soon on it's way to Canada. I loved this when I read it and I would be delighted to hear Alan Bennett himself reading it. I have just finished listening to Four Short Stories by him on audiobook and maybe if I find he has recorded The Uncommon Reader I just might treat myself.
