Unread by me; donated to my Bookcrossing addiction by my father.

From the back of the book (all typos mine):

As the events of World War II devastate Hungary, two brothers try to survive with only each other to rely on, while a young girl fights for life in the shadow of certain death.

Once again Ramon, Lucio, Milos and Neil gather at Gancio's restaurant to share lunch and their mutual passion for storytelling. It is Neil's turn to take the floor, but instead Milos demands the right to take precedence. As his story unfolds, his friends are horrified to learn the reason for his urgency.

6 out of 10

I found this book under the Anzac bridge on my lunch break. Since then it sat on my work desk for weeks as I wasn't really interested in reading it however felt as though I should set it free somewhere special. When I finished my last book I decided to read 'lunch with the station master', It's a fascinating insight to what it must have been like for many many people in Europe during WWii. I took it with me oo the USA and then onto London. I had every intention of leaving it in LA and when I didn't finish it there I was going to leave it in London. Well, I have been very busy and didn't finish reading it until I was on the island of Maderia, Portugal. As such I Have susceeded in leaving this book somewhere special. I hope the next person enjoys the book as much as I did.
