WILD RELEASE NOTES:

On January 30, 2012 at the Telus Centre, Winona LaDuke delivered a keynote address to over 200 people at the University of Alberta, part of the Sustainability Speaker Series and International Week.

An internationally-renowned author, orator and activist, LaDuke works on issues of sustainable development, renewable energy and food systems. She was named by Time magazine in 1994 as one of America’s fifty most promising leaders under forty years of age, is also the founder of the White Earth Land Recovery Project in her community in northern Minnesota.
