Really brilliant magic system based on language(s), rune-writing and physicality. Apart from that stellar quality, this book was a decent read: the characters and setting weren't super compelling to me, but this was definitely an interesting read. Some deeply awesome concepts from a linguistically-minded point of view.

Fun fantasy with super interesting magical system!

Well well, there was a bookcrossing book again. Found it yesterday around five thirty pm. This one looked like one I'd like to read. I don't really consume so much pure fantasy, I'm more a scifi oriented person. But, who can tell...those genres are sometimes so near each other.

This shall be my "C" in the Forum's A to Z -challenge (Aakkoshaaste).

edit. Not too bad! I'd read the sequel, should I first encounter it somewhere.
