Thinner" - the old gypsy man barely whispered the word. Billy felt the touch of a withered hand on his cheek.
"Thinner" - the word, the old man's curse, had lodged in Billy's mind like a fattening worm, eating at his flesh, at his reason.
And with his despair, came violence....
I have read - & enjoyed - this book before but as it was only 20p couldn't resist picking it up! I may read it again or just release it as part of a challenge, watch this space....

Hope you are encouraged to read more by him as there are some really good books waiting for you. My favourite is the "The Stand" a whopping read you can really get your teeth into.
