Welcome to Bookcrossing!
You must have found my travelling book! I hope you enjoy reading it and that you might take a few moments to jot down here what you thought about it. You can make your journal entry anonymously or hopefully you’ll decide to join Bookcrossing! It’s free and your email address will never be passed on and you will not receive any spam. If you do decide to join you’ll receive email alerts when other people make a journal entry for this book, so you can see its journey around the world. When you’ve finished reading, hopefully you’ll journal what you thought, but then what you do next is up to you – keep it, pass it on, or wild release it so it can continue its journey!
If you do join, please mention me, Bazil74, as the person who introduced you to the site.
Enjoy x

Another wonderful surprise to come home to after a long, hard day at work. I thank you, bazil74 for this book from my wishlist. It's been on the list a long while and I'm so happy now to have a chance to read it. It does look like the stuff of BookCrossing! Many thanks indeed.
Edited to add: I read this one in on sitting today and will be sending off to another BookCrosser in this Birthday RABCK group. Good luck little book!

Journal Entry 4 by Poobah1 at ~~~ ♥ ~~~ A Friend ~~~ ♥ ~~~, -- By post or by hand/ in person -- USA on Sunday, January 29, 2012
A wishlist book received for my birthday. Thank you poobah1!
A really quick read. Lots of ideas. Some I wouldn't do. Others didn't seem so much like Random Acts of Kindness to me, just like things people do all the time. At least around here.

sent to glade1 for wishlist tag.
Received in the mail yesterday and I've already read it! Thank you, jmsmom!
I agree that some of the items in the book are "no-brainers," and a few sounded to me like less than true kindness (give someone your old, ratty item you don't want anymore...). But some were fun ideas, and I enjoyed the very British slant. I got a kick out of the suggestion to give your bus driver a pot plant. I think that would get you arrested here! (In my neck of the woods, we say "potted plant"; pot is marijuana!) And there were some I didn't understand at all: "Play knock down ginger, but leave a little gift.." Not sure what knock down ginger is!
I'm a big fan of Danny Wallace so this is a nice addition to my Wallace library! His books seem to be harder to come by on this side of the Atlantic so the collection is growing very slowly :)
Thanks again for this nice RABCK!
