Bought at the 2007 Victoria College (University of Toronto) for $1.50 (half price day, I think). Then found a cheap second copy that was actually in better condition at the Kingston Symphony Orchestra booksale, on $5/box day. So I'm going to BookCross this one, possibly as part of my Canadian cultural infiltration programme.

I didn't like this novel as much as Findley's other works. Findley's style is generally very good, but the writing didn't really strike me here. I found I didn't really understand the novel and didn't get much out of it.
Maybe if the subject or era interests you more, or if you understand it better than I do, you might like it.
