Merry sparkling christmas, so so sorry I'm such a late angel ! You deserved better. This is an awesome book though :) Hope that makes up for it a bit.
Thank you so much Bloedengel! No worries about it being late; it's always nice to receive something after all the rush is over :-). Looks like a fun read.
Loved it! I could hardly put it down once I got a few pages into it. The characters were realistic; some nice and some, shall we say, not so much :-). I was pleased to find a strong female character who fooled everyone with that unexpected strength. (Can't say more without giving too much plot away ;-) Loved the Paris setting as well.
The only reason it got 9 stars instead of 10 is due to the detailed descriptions of what everyone is wearing in each scene. Unfortunately, I'm just not a fashionista! But I would certainly welcome the opportunity to wear some of the beautiful jewels of the title...
