Two books at once, that's what I call pampering :) Thank you for the generous Yorkshire package, Deltic! I'm off to brewing a pot, it just doesn't get better than a cup of English tea...as a lecturing professor from Cambridge University put it: "I shall never drink coffee in Britain and I shall never drink tea in Finland." Yup, that's how good ours is.

Even though I've never read the other books in the series, Head Over Heels in the Dales was a truly enjoyable feel-good-story! The people from his office and from the schools came alive on the pages and I loved the usage of local dialect, it just made the story more vivid. You could almost smell the paper and tea in the inspectors' office... Can't help wondering what has become of little Terry!
Btw, another re-run of Heartbeat has just begun in Finnish tv and I got a pack of Yorkshire tea as a gift - I'm loving them both!

CONTROLLED RELEASE NOTES:
Toukokuu is kindly taking the book to Kirjakko!
The book has stayed with me until today but tonight is going to continue its travel towards Kirjakko. By the way this seems like an interesting series so I might want to read these books someday.
I gave the book to oofiri tonight.
Thank you everybody (all the way from Deltic! An added bonus...), the book has finally reached me. Oofiri's son was handing me books from a meet-up I had missed, but he didn't think there would be more than A BAGFUL... So today I went to collect the rest. Is greed among the seven deadly sins? I'm doomed...
Looking forward to returning to Mr Phinn's rounds in Glorious Yorkshire.
Edit: And don't believe Pippis, I drink tea here all the time.
