Absolutely fascinating book written in 1937.
If you think about Orwell's "1984", you may get the feeling of the book.
However, the totalitalian world in which this book is set is deadly in the sense that it treats women as animals.
The scene starts with mock Christian-service in Germany long after Hitler's triumph.
There may be many places that the modern readers may feel uneasy (remember, the book was written when the tension for WWII was growing, so there is quite a bit of emotional propaganda going on)--but the question of sexual politics still stands.
Even only for the sake of comparing with 1984 or Brave New World, this book is, I think, interesting enough.

Unlike other books, I am not intending to "release" this book. However, if anyone is interested, I will be really very happy to form a bookring.

Released on Saturday, October 04, 2003 at Airmail to Australia in Postal release, England United Kingdom.

Sent to Gilli.
Hope it will reach there safely.

What a wonderfully written book! This world view is extremely well thought out, and I had to keep reminding myself that it was written before World War II broke out. It reads more like an alternate history written after the war, rather than an extrapolation from before the war. While it would be easy to find the subject matter of this book depressing, in the end I was actually left with positive feelings. This is an optimistic message about the resilience of humanity, even in the face of overwhelming odds. Even after being buried and denied for centuries, the Truth survives and continues to find people willing to sacrifice themselves for It. Thank you, kozappa, for sharing this terrific book. Its now on its way to Tzurriz in Florida.
