Eldridge Cleaver was sent to prison for rape, and there he wrote this fine book. The book may not exist if there were Son of Sam laws back then, as a brief portion of his book details his crime. Essays on the black experience during the struggle for civil rights.

i received this book about a week ago and i've made a couple attemptts to read it. i just can't get into it, maybe it's a little to heavy for my mindset right now. i will passs it along to the next reader.
