I picked this up at the Borders closing sale, partly because one of the stories is narrated by Lou Diamond Philips, whom did an outstanding job in another audio book.

Curiously, I don't care too much for the dramatization. I would prefer just a straight forward reading as in most audio books.

It's quick and entertaining enough listen to pass some driving time. Some of the stories are downright predictable, and some of the actors are over dramatic it borders on cheesy - especially the last story - I know the guy is supposed to be annoying but he's so successful I almost popped the CD out.

Will reserve for the next CD box.

I picked this out of BigJohnLefty's Another CD Audiobook Bookbox. Had to listen to this one right away. I was such a fan of Twilight Zone back in the day. This was classic Twilight Zone! Yes it is over dramatized and cheesy in parts but that was the way the show was performed on TV. I got all reminiscent listening to these five dramas. I started thinking about how my siblings and I would sit in front of the old TV console and watch Rod Serling present his creepy little stories that sometimes would cause us to have nightmares. Some of those stories still stick with me. Remember the one about the earwig? Then Twilight Zone became Night Gallery and we continued to get scared. The Talking Tina story reminded me a bit of the Night Gallery tale with the old porcelain doll (the kind with teeth) that came alive and killed. Yikes!

Thanks for sharing this little gem. Now my husband is listening to it. I will send this on a journey sometime in the very near future.

Finished it today as I was working on the computer. I agree with the previous journalers. Like imawinn2, I was a fan of the old TV show so it was fun to listen to this CD. I will pass it on for someone else to enjoy.
