Quick, fun read, good plot, excellent quirky characters and fantastic setting.
When Peter Hynd (a.k.a. Mr. Sexyboytoy) moves into the little Scottish town of Drim, he turns everyone on their heads and turns friend against friend, husband against wife. Suddenly, attendance at the aerobics class reaches an all-time high, the salon is the busiest shop in town and husbands are coming home to cold suppers and dark hearths. It comes as no suprise to local lazy copper Hamish McBeth when the man turns up missing. In Drim, the undercurrents of malicious hatred and jealousy reach a sickening height when one of their own winds up dead shortly after Mr. Sexyboytoy's disappearance. Now Hamish (with the help of his lovely fiance Prisilla) has to find Peter Hynd and solve a murder, hopefully all without getting a promotion.
