I didn't really read this book either. My professor thought it would be fun to give us 5 different books to read for my Psychology class. The back of the book says this:
The next time you get sick, consider this before you pick up the aspirin: your body may be doing exactly what it's supposed to. In this groundbreaking book, two pioneers of the emerging science of Darwinian medicine argue that illness as well as the factors that predispose us towars it are subject to the same laws of natural selection that otherwise make our bodies such miralces of design.
