The Dirty Duck

I made my second trip to The Book Thing of Baltimore recently and this one of the books I brought back. Love this series, so I couldn't resist snagging one that I hadn't read yet, despite the size of Mt TBR and the number of mysteries already on it.
This one floated to the top of the pile and I needed a quick read for a difficult week, so I took it along. Spend enough time stuck on Metro during track repairs and presto! 4 days of "20-minute" rides become sufficient time to read a whole book.
One of the better installments in the series, particularly as to the mystery aspect and the whodunit (I was surprised by the ending). I always love Jury's way with children and the interesting animals that Grimes includes in the cast and these were no exception. Very literary and quite entertaining.
Will look to wild release this if it is not on someone's wishlist.

Headed to the Zoo to celebrate my birthday. While I am there, I will wild release all the books I have with animal-related titles. This is also part of the September "You're Such an Animal" Release Challenge.
