This book is one in a series of books known as "You Choose", in which you are not merely reading the story, but interacting by selecting from options given at various intervals. These choices alter the plot, and can provide many different storylines simply by changing your previous responses. As a child, I enjoyed a similar series of what were called "Choose Your Own Adventure", and so this book was quite a nostalgic experience. There are many titles in this series, of both fictional and non-fictional subject matter. This particular title is quite obviously based on an actual historic event. Though these books tend to be aimed at adolescents/young adults, I believe it can also be enjoyed by any adult whose inner child is still very much alive and kicking. (Or doing mad, crazy judo, like mine.)
