Its a short story that's well worth reading. It has all of the elements that have given Poe's work the title of classic horror stories. I will be releasing this as a bookray for Halloween. Hope everyone will enjoy the book!

I got the book in a bookray and immediately sat down and read it. I love Poe, and this is one of my favorite stories of his. And the illustrations (by Kristopher Copeland) are incredible and fit so well with the mood of the story. Off to get it ready for its next destination....

I received this in the mail today from Katssokrazy in GA. I finished one bookray today and received another one in the mail 2 days ago ... but this one looks short enough that I should be able to finish it soon.

I read this today in one setting ... and wow is it good!! Starts out slow ... and the suspense builds ... until the climax had me looking behind my shoulder, hearing noises (when I was home alone). A perfect read for Halloween!!!

What a strange story. For all the beautiful language and lengthy description, not a whole lot happens. The ending sort of rushes at you and suddenly it's over. All the same, it was pleasantly creepy and Poe is always good for quick chills when you need them.

I hope to mail this off to the next person within the week.
