Oh my gosh - I so want to like this book. But - I just can't. You are going to think I am the laziest person ever but to be honest - it's just too dang much work. Every page has side bars and notes and maps - it's like looking through a very wordy, very busy scrapbook. I just don't have the energy. I bet it's a great book. The concept is great. It's just not for shallow, lazy loafs, like me.

Released 6 mos ago (10/31/2011 UTC) at Mission Viejo, California USA CONTROLLED RELEASE NOTES:
the very kind MoutainWren sent me a book off her wishlist, and in return I went through her wishlist and discovered I had a bunch of her wishes on my TBR shelf. It took longer than I'd hoped, but I'm finally getting a nice big RABCK stack off to her. Enjoy!! Dear Reader: What you have in your hands is an honest-to-goodness gift, no strings attached. You may keep it forever and ever, pass it on to a friend, or release it in the wild. I know it may seem a little odd to find this lying around--it's my way of touching the lives of others in a positive way, with the hope that it made your day. I hope you'll journal so all the previous and future readers can track this book's journey. Thanks, and happy BookCrossing!

Thank you! I took a glance inside and this book is visually stunning. I was that quirky kid always reading the encyclopedia, so this book is probably right up my alley.
