I really liked this book although for some reason I raed it very slowly, forgetting it for days and then just kept coming back to it. It it rich in themes as the Time review says and beautiful. It's at times a bit heavy to read but in the end it's rewarding too.

Journal Entry 2 by Tintti at Jyväskylä, Keski-Suomi Finland on Monday, December 12, 2011
At first I thought that this book didn't seem interesting enough, but then I ended up taking it home from our little meeting. I took it mostly because the story is set in a Balkan country, and that interests me, alhtough I'm not sure if the country, or the war in Balkan, is in any role in this book. We'll see how this turns out.
