15th July 1988. Emma and Dexter meet for the first time on the night of their graduation. Tomorrow they must go their separate ways.

So where will they be on this one day next year?

And the year after that? And every year that follows?

8 out of 10

I really enjoyed reading this until it got towards the end. I totally hate the ending...it just seems wrong.

RES for a surprised RABCK

Got the book from Sobergirl over a cup of coffee, thank you! What could be better than a girly chat with a steaming latte - at least time flew by! I'm looking forward to reading the book, perhaps I'll save it for holidays...

6 out of 10

To be honest, I kept dragging myself through the book. At times I liked the story and the characters and ther pages almost flew by, but at times I felt frustrated on the predictability of the characters. This could be a compulsory read on life for all high schoolers: this is what women expect/men are like... Soppy, happy, optimistic, pessimistic, realistic, everything at the same time, moods changing by the pages. Still, this was a solid piece of chick lit! Are you sure Nicholls' not really a woman?

Book's going to another local crosser, so it'll stay with me for a while still.
