OLd classic copy of #3 in the Fafhrd and Grey Mouser series. Published in 1968, it's still a classic in the series. These are all short stories, vignettes of the 2 wanderers as they travel through their world in search of adventure, gold, wine, women, and song. If you've ever wondered about those 2 charcters, here's a great way to jump in.

SFF VBB round II - from quietorchid.

Although I've read a lot of Fritz Leiber, this was my first experience with Fafhrd and the Grey Mouser. The stories have been collected into six volumes and arranged in chronological order. This is the third volume in the series, although it is mostly earlier stories (it includes the first, "Adept's Gambit." I thought that "Lean Times in Lankhmar" was by far the best story, though it was a bit on the light side. I look forward to finding more in the series! (And reading the other two books from the SFF VBB number II...)

It will be looking for a new home tomorrow at the Twin Cities monthly bookcrossing meeting.
