"In the twenty-third century pioneers have escaped the crowded earth for life in self-sustaining orbital colonies. One of the colonies, Rotor, has broken away from the solar system to create its own renegade utopia around an unknown red star two light-years from Earth: a star named Nemesis. Now a fifteen-year-old Rotorian girl has learned of the dire threat that nemesis poses to Earth's people--but she is prevented from warning them. Soon she will realize that Nemesis endangers Rotor as well. And so it will be up to her alone to save both Earth and Rotor as--drawn inexorably by Nemesis, the death star--they hurtle toward certain disaster."

Very Asimov. An unfaltering optimism that earth - and its inhabitants - wiil prevail, even when facing a star heading straigth towards it. And besides human ingenuity, there is the alien brain of a distant planet that hurries to our assistance channeling its wisdom through a remarkable young settler woman called Molly by her mom, but to herself, her earthling father and the planet itself, it is Marlene, with a brilliant but oh so often discomforting and confrontational brain.
Well written, lots of suspense and a happy ending: i spent a nice rainy Saturday with Nemesis.
This is my first experience with bookcrossing and it's been a real wow.
Have now left Nemesis in the epxert hands of my son in Leuven, Belgium who will surely release it back in the open very soon.

Philip gave it to me in Leuven to read and share. Have not found the time to read, and feel it's time to share nonetheless. Will leave it on a table at Csendestars in central Budapest. Enjoy! Sara
