Wanted to read all of Harris' food themed titles first, so here goes...

Not sure if going to tolerate whole story 'told' by a bottle of wine! - this seems to be the angle in chapter 1 anyway.

Coped with wine being narrator but was a real struggle to stick with this as pace was slow and magic/ghosts aren't a favourite genre of mine - but worth getting to the end as Harris can weave a good yarn.
Vivid characters and love the gardening bits.
Not surprisingly half of story based in France and having read others' reviews set in same place as Chocolat - unfortunately my memory fails me so might have to re-read Chocolat!

Left on the low table on lower floor (from the Pollet) - hoping someone from the lunch time rush picks it up.
