Another bargain from The Book Corner used book store (all proceeds go to the Beaverton Library). I heard that Secretariat, the movie, was pretty bad but that the true story, as told in the book, is quite interesting. So, I decided to give this book a try and take a trip down memory lane (I'm old enough to remember when Secretariat won the triple crown).

Update - I started this book but never got pulled into the story (unlike Seabiscuit, which I loved!) so I decided to release this into the wild.

This was released in honor of International Bookcrossing Day!

I left this book near the racks of free newspapers and magazines (Willamette Week, Portland Tribune) that are in the lobby of the Beaverton Library at Murray Scholls. The library is in the small strip mall at the corner of Murray Blvd. and Scholls Ferry Road.
