Later: I liked this second installment even better than the first one. Good plot and interesting characters, including one of the most odious I've encountered in a long time! It's surprising that this character wasn't the killer's target :-)

I read 'Death at Wentwater Court' before reading this, so I understood how Daisy met Alec Fletcher. Good cosy mystery.
Occles Hall was described a lot like Little Moreton Hall in Cheshire so I was glad it got a mention:
