An Abundance of Katherines

When it comes to relationships, Colin Singleton’s type is girls named Katherine. And when it comes to girls named Katherine, Colin is always getting dumped. Nineteen times, to be exact. On a road trip miles from home, this anagram-happy, washed-up child prodigy has ten thousand dollars in his pocket, a bloodthirsty feral hog on his trail, and an overweight, Judge Judy–loving best friend riding shotgun—but no Katherines. Colin is on a mission to prove The Theorem of Underlying Katherine Predictability, which he hopes will predict the future of any relationship, avenge Dumpees everywhere, and finally win him the girl. Love, friendship, and a dead Austro-Hungarian archduke add up to surprising and heart-changing conclusions in this ingeniously layered comic novel about reinventing oneself.
This book is to find a new reader at the May meet-up of Calgary BookCrossers at Cravings Market Restaurant.
I don't even know 19 Katherine's! Should be a a good read!
I really enjoyed this book. Colin is a mix of the boy in word nerd and Sheldon cooper of the Big Bang. Nerds that are awkward socially, smart but anal.....
I will be taking this to the next bookcrossing meet up. The theme is numbers so this will fit in as it is about 19 Katherine's.....not Catherine's, Kate, Katrina!

Purging my TBR pile and couldn't get into this one so passing it along to the next person.
Picked up at yesterday's Calgary bookcrossing meeting. Sounds like a cute read. Looking for Alaska was pretty good so this should be good too, hopefully.
This was a super cute book. You totally saw where it was headed by like the fourth chapter, but all the characters were quirky enough to keep me interested.
Will be brought to the next Calgary Bookcrossing Meeting and Handed off.
