Bought from Awesome Books. I found this a haunting novel and the cold and the troubles of the space explorers were ever present in my mind even though technically the voyage seemed unrealistic. The one-way voyage to Titan with existing technology was a great idea. The ending was very imaginative and unexpected.

The other troubling and fascinating part of the story with the destructive growth of unreasoning conflict between two inflexibly governed super-powers a fundamentalist US and a reactionary China.
