Sending to dvg from the Virtual Biography/Auto-Biography/Humor Bookbox Enjoy the books!
Arrived safely in NJ and thank you for forwarding it on to me.
I remember as a child watching Goldie on the TV show called, "Laugh In." I've seen her interviewed and read articles. So when this popped up in the VBB, it called to me. I know I will enjoy the story.

CONTROLLED RELEASE NOTES:
Sending this out to NancyNova as part of the Wishlist Tag Game. While you did not have this title on your wishlist, you did have the statement: biography that I think you will enjoy. I thought this a lovely read that was written well in the author's own voice. I could practically hear Goldie telling it. I hope you enjoy it. Happy Reading and Happy BookCrossing!
I remember Goldie Hawn from laugh-in too! Adding to the TBR sooner bookshelf. Thank you!
memoir of Goldie - at least up until 2005ish. I never knew why she didn't marry Kurt Russell and didn't realize that she had been married before. She was portrayed on laugh-in and other movies as a ditz, but she's really not.

CONTROLLED RELEASE NOTES:
Bonus book for the colors bookbox to add more genre variety. Happy reading!
Claiming this from the bookbox with thanks. I've enjoyed her acting over the years. Off the top of my head, Butterflies Are Free might be the first place I remember focusing on her as I wasn't a big watcher of Laugh-in. I'll be interested to learn a bit more.
I've finished reading this and it exceeded my expectations. It was full of personal anecdotes, interesting stories, and philosophical musings. I also enjoyed coming upon a very funny postcard from the Spam Museum used as a bookmark.
I'm taking it with me to the senior center where I volunteer, to add to their new bookshelf. As a hardback, the print should be big enough for the seniors to read and I think it's a topic of interest for many. It will be a nice bit of variety, anyway, among the big stack of thrillers that are there now.
