As a military wife it's always great to find a popular book that sheds light on the life of military families. Laura Harrington did an amazing job doing just that with this book. It tells the story of 15 year old Alice Bliss and her family as they try to cope and deal with her father being deployed. It is an emotional book, so be forewarned! It is a great coming of age story as well and can envelope readers of all ages!
