- a plane crash, which actually happened and is known as the „The 1956 Grand Canyon mid-air collision“
- a case with valuable diamonds which fell into the canyon and is missing since the crash
- a charming love story between Sergeant Chee and his formerly officer Bernie Manuelito, who is now his fiancee.
- a breathless pursuit down the canyon after above-mentioned diamonds
- a torrent showdown
- a satisfying happy end

I couldn't put it down.

gave it to a Croatian student who will travel back tonight by bus. In the hope that he will become a member of Bookcrossing too ...

Another great read by Tony H. It is the one before his last, sadly. I wished someone would continue with the series, no wonder readers are traveling to his places mentioned in the books for real...wish I could go there myself one day....
