A new author to me, in fact someone I've never even heard of before; this is the first book I've read or listened to with a tie-in to the US geologic survey.
Quite interesting subject matter, and an intriguing story too.....

There was kind of a lot of kung-fu fighting, but overall, I enjoyed this fast-paced thriller. Interesting premise of Hawaii seceding from the US.

This book traveled back to California with me.
I've just finished listening to it. Especially the second half or so reminded me of action movies the way thinks were happening.
At first I wasn't sure how much I liked the book, I found the premise somewhat strange, but it turned out to be interesting after all.

I liked the reader except that he wasn't good at using different voices for different people, he shouldn't even have attempted that, it was a little bit distracting when it happened.
