Journal Entry 4 by raquelsita from Camarillo, California USA on Friday, September 03, 2004
I really enjoyed this book...it was so much better than some other "chick-lit" out there. Well written and funny, you really feel for Cannie and all that she's going through. I found myself not being able to put it down, which meant that I spent some nights up till 2am reading until I finally forced myself to go to sleep. Thanks Karyl for sending this on to me!

Journal Entry 7 by Kyrissaean from Littleton, New Hampshire USA on Saturday, November 13, 2004
This was a great story! It was really absorbing--I had trouble putting it down too. I'd be reading and look up, and hours had passed! Cannie is a great main character, and she sounds like someone I'd love to be friends with. She's smart, she's very funny, and she comes off as a real three-dimensional person dealing with real life. I would definitely be interested to read more by Jennifer Weiner! But enough, enough, enough about Bruce! (Am I the only one who felt that way?) I'm going to let my mom and my sister read this before I decide where it's going next....

Well, it took them forever to get around to it, but both my mom and my sister really liked this one too. :) Mailed to Flicki in Germany today as part of the "Hot, hot, or Hottish Books" relay. Happy reading, Flicki!

Received this right before going to France, two weeks ago! So I couldn't make a journal entry before. Anyway, thanks a lot! I'm really looking forward to this one!

Journal Entry 10 by Flicki from Emden, Niedersachsen Germany on Tuesday, April 18, 2006
This book is with a friend of mine now for a while, so it doesn't collect too much dust on my shelf! :-) Hope she'll get around to reading it.

Journal Entry 11 by Flicki from Emden, Niedersachsen Germany on Tuesday, August 29, 2006
Okay, got it back! :-) I enjoyed the book very much - it's a bit more than the average chick lit you usually get. I also quite liked the fact that there is an interview with the author at the end of the book - it helped to come slowly out of it. Unfortunately, I found it a bit disappointing that Weiner mainly wrote about herself. I put the book on bookrelay and will be passing this on to irenic soon!
