Yes, I did love this show when it was on... This book, though I take that it was written before the show was cast and run, was a good background into the characters that became the stars of TV. Liz's parents are different here, Alex is a redhead and who the heck was Nikolas?! A Tess wannabe? All of the Liz/Max and some of the Maria/Michael & Alex/Isabel sexual tension is here... the stuff that made the show great! Now I need the other 9 books in the series! A definitely good one-sitting daydreamer of a book!

I'm going on a crazy Roswell spree - I just can't get enough of it. Loved the book - except I did feel the ending was a bit rushed. And I don't know what to make of Maria's Bilbo moment with the gold ring right at the very end. I guess it will come back in later books.

Yesterday the DVDs of the TV show came out. I bought them on my way home and watched the first two episodes right away, even though I needed to be grading papers (and then I was up until 1 am grading papers!). It just feels so good to be back in this world of Roswell.
