Donated to the ForeignExchange book boxes by Marla during a book swap at my house. I've been wanting to read this ever since it came out, so it didn't even make it to the boxes. Later, once I've read it.

The Nijmegen Book Club decided to nominate a number of books on its members' bookshelves to choose to read. It turned out that several people already had this waiting to be read, and it was voted the book to read for our meeting at the end of May. It turned out to be a fantastic book to discuss. Yes, we can talk about Kevin, and we did, at lenth: four hours talking non-stop about the book and the issues it raises. It is a horrific book, and none of the characters are likeable. Bad decisions were made, but can you blame the parents when their child turns out to be a murderer? Are some children impossible to love? Fascinating.

I have written a much longer review on Goodreads.
