wer bringt ein kleines mödchen um und bahrt es auf dem opferaltar einer ausgrabungsstätte auf. jede spur, die die beiden jungen dubliner ermittler rob und cassie verfolgen, führt sie nur tiefer in ein dickicht, in dem sich alle gewissheiten in ihr gegenteil verkehren. und keiner darf erfahren, dass rob vor vielen jahren selbst etwas furchtbares erlebt hat - im wald bei ebenjener ausgrabungsstätte.
