Hello from Lemgo Germany! Vielen Grüss aus Lemgo Deutschland!

Hello every one!
My name is Joelle Lenniger and live here in Lemgo. I love this idea of sending books around the world as I have lots of books to give away. I enjoy reading and find it pretty wasteful to just throw them in the trash. Here's to new friendships and snuggling up with a cup of coffee and a book. I used to love John Grishams and now adore Joanne Harris, Marian Keyes and Jane Green again. By the way I am Jamaican, Christian but not stoic, female, happily married and used to live in Florida and as a teenager in Texas.

glad to have you with us ☺♥☺

Take your time to check out the exciting aspects of bookcrossing.
And should you have questions, just ask - we are friendly people.

Best idea for a good start-up is to go to a meeting to find new books and meet new people.
There are some active bookcrossers in your region.

Have fun☺

Hello!
It's so nice to see so much people from Europe here! I know Bookcrossing was born in the USA but I'm very glad to notice that it's loved in Europe too, now.
I'm from Italy (Milan) and, at the moment, there aren't so many people that know and enjoy Bookcrossing here, but I hope we'll grow up.
Bye Bye!

There are plenty of ways to share your books, both "wild releasing" and by "controlled releases".

It might be worthwhile you visiting the German forum:
https://www.bookcrossing.com/---/14

The (Not-So-) Random Acts of BookCrossing Kindness forum has lots of interesting things is there including sweepstakes and giveaways::

The Wishlist Tag Game is a great way to give a book, and get a book.
There are a few of them, this is the European one:
http://www.bookcrossing.com/---/489942
The game is played by 'Tagging' someone with a book on their Wishlist, and then you will in turn be Tagged with a book on your Wishlist.
Make sure you have the sort options set to "Flat - Latest First" so you can see who is next in line to be tagged.
Simply check their Wishlist, and if you have a book that features there, and are happy to pay the postage to send the book to them, tag away!

Here too are the links for the International Games:

You might also enjoy the Bookrings, Bookrays, and Bookboxes forum which exists to coordinate group book sharing amongst members.
