What's the oldest published book you've ever released?

Hi all,

What's the oldest published book you've ever released via BookCrossing?

As at 5th June 2010, mine is this one; http://www.bookcrossing.com/---/8046506 being published in 1969, and due for a release sometime next week.

I do have one that I've been toying with releasing that beats it, being printed in 1905; a copy of "Uncle Tom's Cabin", but I can't bring myself to let it go!

Seriously, I remember releasing one published in the 1920's (1928 I think) but don't remember the name of it. Today, I released this one:

1918...

It was a carpentry textbook that came through our Hesperia OBCZ. We regularly get books from the 30's.

Thanks for the input. So, anyone want to trump 1930?

...with quite a few books that trump 1930 - a few by a couple of centuries (!), though I don't think all of those have actually been released; some are registered as permanent-collection, though of course all books will move on someday {wry grin}. My own oldest copy from that thread was 1909:

http://www.bookcrossing.com/---/263661

Not all of the books mentioned there are registered on BC, but quite a few are. (I admit to checking my books' values online before slapping labels on them, just in case they're worth enough in pristine condition. But plenty of older books are simply not worth very much, especially if they're not in very good shape, and I've cheerfully registered and released quite a few of them.) Oh, and you're welcome to bump that thread with your own example if you'd like to make that discussion current again - it's a few years old and there may be some newer (or should I say "older") examples since then!

Mine was 1912

Felicitas, the oldest published book I've released was printed in 1912.

(sorry for all notes in it being in Finnish. It's a really tiny book, a novel even placed in the history, around the medieval times if I remember correct)
