Encountered an issue

When I was registering a book, my computer hiccuped and logged me out while I was trying to do so. So I logged back in and registered the book. I went to see, just incase, there wasn't an incorrect copy listed.

It appears when I tried logging the book, it created this listing: http://www.bookcrossing.com/---/14598287 under AF

The second "logging" of the book on my "real" shelf is here: http://www.bookcrossing.com/---/14598288

If I knew what the first 3 numbers were of the af registered book was, I'd assign the one of them to another book.

What do I do? Should I just ignore it, even though there's no book associated with that number on the af shelf?

Both of your links are the same; I think this is the bogus one:

I've seen that happen a time or two, though not often. Since the book shows as registered by AnonymousFinder and isn't connected to your bookshelf at all, you wouldn't be able to edit the book details even if you had the full BCID, though you could make a journal entry and keep track of it that way.

I'd say ignore it - though support could delete it entirely.

Ahh thanks for catching that gory! My original post has been updated.

And thanks-maybe ignoring it is the best for now
