Don't forget to order your supplies for this year's International BookCrossing Day (April 21)! The last day to order them is March 25, because we'll need time to get them to you before the big day arrives. And this year's labels were designed by Azuki and they're great. So don't miss out, get your orders in while you can!
First of all, under Greece > Dodecanese, there are like ten listings of Rhodes. There is Rhodes, then Rhodes, Afandou; Rhodes, Faliraki; Rhodes, Ialysos -Kremasti and so on. Does it mean they should all consolidated into Rhodes, and then the name changed to Rhodes Island instead? Or they are different cities on Rhodes Island and should be kept as is? Should I rename them in any way?
Also, I noticed that there is Hotel Kresten Palace in Kalithea, and then one Hotel Kresten. Are they the same place?
My apologies for my very limited knowledge of Greece geography, just don't want to make more mess than it is now.
I think people created Greece>Dodecanese> Rhodes:Faliraki etc because Rhodes is a large island and there is no option to create Greece>Dodecanese>Rhodes>Faliraki>Swapping self in X hotel for example.
Afandou, Faliraki, Ialysos, Kremasti are each one a different town or area on Rhodes Island which is a quite large one-at least by Greek standards. And then its main town is called Rhodes too- Rhodes Town I guess.
I am not extremely familiar with hotels in Kalithea, but I think those Kresten listings are both about the same place.
(I will post a thread to Greek forum to see if other people are willing to help with suggestions about areas they are familiar with. I don't see many Greek BCers visiting other forums than the Greek one while I'm sure most of them have a good knowledge of English language. A reminder to clear up the listings a bit doesn't hurt!)
