Post your releases for this challenge in this thread, starting Feb. 15 and ending Mar. 15. Enjoy!
Bookczuk began this challenge several years ago as a loosely organized *short* Challenge centered around a local Food/Wine Festival in Charleston SC, her hometown, (See its info here if you might be in the area: http://charlestonwineandfood.com/
.) If there are any interesting food- or wine-related events in your area, feel free to mention them in your release notes, and if they're taking place while the challenge is on, you could even release books there!
Re books to release: Pretty much anything goes as long as you can relate the book somehow to food or beverages. Embedded words are okay, as are releases to OBCZs. Wild releases preferred, but controlled are OK. I'll award wings-for-a-month or a wishlist book to the person with the most releases, and to another randomly-chosen participant.
So what can you release?
Cookbooks are good. Books with food in the title or author-name are even better:
Driving Over Lemons
Like Water for Chocolate
Five Quarters of an Orange
I Loved, I Lost, I Made Spaghetti
Traveling with Pomegranates
Books with some passing relation to any of the above are also good:
Cleaving: A Story of Marriage, Meat, and Obsession
The Main Corpse (and other punny food/meal-themed titles)
A Pirate's Tale (for the embedded "ate")
And books with food on the cover are also good. In short, if you make me believe that it fits, it will count.
Multiple challenges are fine too, in fact I encourage them - and since this challenge overlaps both February and March, you can double-up some of these releases with the February challenges and others with the March ones.
See last year's thread ( https://www.bookcrossing.com/---/539001
