LGBT memoir 'Before Night Falls' released outside a performance of 'Rainbow's End'. So a double rainbow.

Nice release, Like your double rainbow :-)

Also sounds like an incredible book~~one I'll put on my "to look for" list. Oddly enough, I just watched a Cuba revolution-era movie last night, The Lost City.

Hi guys
My boy has just told me he has managed to get next weekend off work... woop woop! This is a rare occurance :)
So, because as much as i'm enjoying playing this game, I'm not willing to spend my sunday eveing with the boy sat in front of a PC, I'm gonna extend this turn to make the submission deadline Monday 15th August, and the next turn will be announced on Tuesday 16th
Giving you an extra 24 hours. Double Hurrah :)

strawberry marmalade??? you mean jam, surely? :)

Ummm, I know it's probably anathema to my English friends....but I had strawberries and lemons....so yeah, strawberry marmalade ;). Glad it arrived intact. I had this whole speech about how the "blood colored mess" was emblematic of the murder prepared. So relieved I don't have to use it.

And I'm sorry about the weather, but it's all part of the "rainy, English afternoon with a good book" experience. Maybe I'll leave the gloomy, rain clouds out of the next package ;).

I'm just going to pretend I didn't read that. For my own sanity, you understand.

1) HAHAHAHA me too! :D

2) Oh hey, if your English package brought the weather with it, I'm even more grateful than I was before! We get days like it so rarely that I actually love them!

So since we had to go to an OBCZ and they are kind of rare around here Sklose and I decided that it is time to put a long thought of plan into action. The University of Ulm finally needs an OBCZ.
After some talking to the right people it is now up and running and we released a bunch of books to get it started. A particularly nice one is this:
http://www.bookcrossing.com/---/10046853/
a book for microbiologists about microbes discussing how they are underapreciated in this world :-) I thought that this fitted well with our science university.
It is already gone from the shelf but so far no entry :-(

...waited for a flash of sunshine in the continuous rain that has plagued England (well, Congleton at least) over the last 2 weeks to release 'Where Rainbows End' by Cecelia Ahern. Our team landed on Rainbow's End and therefore this book seemed perfect. For an additional theme related idea, we placed the book in a pot of gold (chocolate coins actually, which are surprisingly difficult to find before Christmas!) outside the bank. The reason for this is because rainbows are rumoured to end near/in a pot of gold and gold is kept in the bank :o) Hope you like our release and really hoping for a catch! :o)

No write up (yet - I will try to do one tomorrow at work if our internet is working, but no promises!) but all the points are updated on the team pages...
Bonus points to...
Team boot, for the specially commissioned toilet paper
Cannons for going above and beyond, forming a brand new OBCZ
Battleships for an awesome orange kiddie's candy release
Scottie Dogs for putting some worth back in the english banking system with a stella deposit

Also - an apology to Team Scottie Dog; I didn't notice that this release completed the colour set for you, so you should have been given an extra 'Pink' themed release this turn. Opps! Do it next turn instead, my mistake :)
