Here in the Netherlands café means pub. Is cafe in monopolyworld just tea or coffee or also a pub?
Profile Image
a cafe is whatever you decide it is, as long as you can explain your reasoning. Wanting an excuse to go to the pub seems like pretty good reasoning to me...

Fourth turn already -- you're on a rrrroll! ;)

So, I suppose we should create a release that makes bookcrossing history...perhaps like the release of a book in an airport which created a major security alert.

I suppose I could travel to London and throw a book at the Prime Minister, or try and find a reporter doing a live link on television and hand them a book.

I would pay good money to see a BookCrosser do either of these things.

Hope you have a good lawyer lined up before you go!

as they landed on community. They have send me Stiff by Mary Roach, a very-much-wished wishlistbook! They also included a lovely toetag-bookmark and a body (doll.) That was happily received by my daughter, and although she is only two, she immediately started, according to theme, dissecting the doll. She already lost a leg and two arms. Oh boy!

It was all due to keeta1 who must have paid a fortune to get the book from New Zealand so fast. I couldn't take part because Canada Post is on strike and Poofy is on holidays. It's nice to know that the whole family appreciated the gift.

NZ Post really came through on this one, even despite the Chilean ash cloud, which is disrupting air traffic in this part of the world! I never expected it to get there that fast.
Hope you enjoy the book, dutch-book, as much as your daughter is enjoying (?) the doll.

The she who already lost a leg and two arms was ofcourse the doll, not my daughter. It looked so weird, when I just read it.
