Yes, a trip to the dune and to St. Emilion would be great.
But it depends a little on how big the vine-tasting-part ist. (I'm sorry but i have to admitt that i'm totally uninterested in vine. :-0 ) But as long as there is an alternative like the possibilty of a nice walk through a village or just the countryside, i'm fine.

No Problem, Trinibell. Today I called the vine chateau, and propably we must make two groupes. Because of the safety inside the underground quarries, not more than 20 peoples at the same time can follow the visit.

The vineyard is a five-minute-walk from the Tourist office in St. Emilion, So during a group makes the visit, the other group can stroll in the city

I would like to skip the wine-tasting, too. Red wine and me, we just don't match.
Profile Image
the tasting is only at the end of the visit.

First, you visit the property, the vineyard grounds, the underground cellars - the old quarries of St Emilion, because St Emilion is a real Swiss cheese, and the hill is hollow because of the old quarries. You learn all about wine and winemaking.

And the tasting is only at the end of the visit.

But of course you can skip the hole visit, no Problem
Profile Image
HerrNiebel and me would also like to join the excursion to St. Emilion and the dune, but skip the wine tasting.
Thanks for organising the trip! This sounds really good!

Skyring and Madame Skyring wishing to attend. There will be six more in our party whom I cannot speak for, but doubtless they will be keen in greater or lesser amounts.

Cat207 and Superman
Romney and M. Romney
Futurecat and Lytteltonwitch

Perhaps worth booking the double-decker megabus?

I know that you wait for this daytrip since Athens ;-)

Ohh good idea!

Lytteltonwitch is a definite yes too, please (she's at work, so can't get on line to reply herself).

Great!

Please add Mr. Boekentrol and me to this list :-) I'm so happy to see that there's still room!!
Profile Image
Could you add Leselotte and dracessa, please. We also want to see the Atlantic Ocean (and taste the wine of course). Thank you!

Is 40 the maximum? If so I'd like to register the coach now, Krissa, please.

We can have a bigger coach - for a little more money - but for the château visit we are limited in 2 x 20 people because of the security in the quarries.

Thanks for increasing the tour size. In my experience, there is nothing quite so much fun as spending time with a bunch of BookCrossers rampaging through the countryside leaving a trail of fresh books and empty wineries behind.

I imagine this... really...

Can't find this tour in events, how do I book please???
Please sign me up and how much do I owe?

You just subscribe here, and than you pay with PayPal or SEPA. But don't pay yet, maybe the price changes if we take a bigger coach.
I think that it is much more easy to manage the different sightseeings here in the forum.

Profile Image
Please add my name, I'd also like to sign up for the tour. Looking forward to some real wine (there IS Nepali wine, but it's rather sweet and more like liqueur...).
