London meet-up Wed 15th Nov at 5 pm

It is Helsinki calling this time. You had Pippis over last time, perhaps you would like to meet up again? And this would be a second chance for those who could not make it in October. I will be there with a non-bookcrosser, but she is an avid reader all the same.
Poodlesister and Jo_an_a are coming and the place to be is The Clarence, 4 Dover Street. You all know Dover Street, where the first successful phonecall was made way back when, and where Alexander Pope and Frederic Chopin lived? I knew you would. Closest tube station Green Park. Mind the gap.
Would love to see some old familiar faces and new ones as well. Please put your name here in the thread if you are coming, so I can see if Santa's Little Helper can fulfill any of your wishes.
We will be starting at 5 pm, but latecomers are welcome, too.

Thanks Poodlesister for drawing my attention to this. I am tied up that afternoon and evening as I'm hosting a gig that night. SO I have a suggestion ;) !! That's because said gig is in one of London's most incredible and little known venues... and next to one of London's very best pubs, and with a singer who is up for Album of the Year and Best Gaelic Singer in the Scots Trad Music Awards to be announced on 2nd Dec. It is very quick and easy from Green Park too ;) and the timing would work too! Music is from 7.45 (from Green Park it's super quick to Canada Water on the Jubilee, then one stop north on the Overground to Rotherhithe, then a 2 minute walk).

It's just an idea but I don't think you'd regret it ;) One of London's truly hidden gems. Details on facebook are here: http://bit.ly/2zH5xDg

Otherwise basic outline and tickets here: http://bit.ly/1WZfz9j

If you think you can come then let me know - I'd try to remember to bring a few books ;)

You'd still have till 7.10pm at your original meetup place.

The venue is this: http://bit.ly/1NYSJ8K There's a library though not books, but pictures: costume and local history. Pubs nearby are the Mayflower: http://bit.ly/2yN3GLs on the river and The Ship, not on the river but with a bookshelf ;) http://bit.ly/2mpJBcT

I've got a really early start on Thursday morning so I won't be able to make it to the event. Sounds great though.
