Serial killer bookbox (US only)

I'd like to begin a bookbox on serial killers. Fiction and nonfiction. U.S. only, to keep postal costs down. We Americans seem to have more serial killers than any other country, anyway.

I'd seed it with the following books:

Deviant: The Shocking True Story of Ed Gein, the Original Psycho, by by Harold Schechter
http://www.bookcrossing.com/---/11181759

The Devil in the White City: Murder, Magic, and Madness at the Fair that Changed America, by Erik Larson
http://www.bookcrossing.com/---/11219604

God's Spy: A Novel, by Juan Gomez-Jurado
http://www.bookcrossing.com/---/11200545

The Preacher: A Novel, by Camilla Läckberg
http://www.bookcrossing.com/---/11187522

The Priest: A Novel, by Gerard O'Donovan
http://www.bookcrossing.com/---/11179196

The Serial Killer Whisperer: How One Man's Tragedy Helped Unlock the Deadliest Secrets of the World's Most Terrifying Killers, by Pete Earley
http://www.bookcrossing.com/---/11165622

Too Many Murders: A Carmine Delmonico Novel, by by Colleen McCullough

I'm game.

I'd like to join, please. I'm in Alaska and would like to be at the end of the list, if possible. Thanks!

Noted!

One to play, so far. Let's give this a week or so for others to show interest.

I can play. (I even have some graphic novels about serial killers, if that's acceptable!)

If those who follow you are OK w/ graphic novels, it's fine with me! BTW, as with all my bookboxes this will be one-way; I won't need it back.

I would like to be added, going to send you a pm

Thanks

OK, so far we have:

GoryDetails (whose posts I've been enjoying for years; nice to "meet" you)
marriedfairy (got your PM; thanks)
AKSarah (last, as requested)

I have added one book to the box, the best yet, I think:
The Devil in the White City: Murder, Magic, and Madness at the Fair that Changed America, by Erik Larson
http://www.bookcrossing.com/---/11219604

I have no special interest in serial killers, BTW; I've just started stockpiling BookCrossable titles topically. My next bookboxes will focus on Brooklyn, wine (though I do make wine in Brooklyn), Hunter S. Thompson, chess, gay issues, and feminist issues.

The box arrived a few days ago, and I've made my choices and sent it on to marriedfairy in AZ (DC# 03103490000122734412). Enjoy!

My contributions are below; if you'd rather be surprised, stop reading now.

...it looks like it's already being sent to AKSarah, who wanted to be at the end.

So I guess I'll look for another box to join instead. :)

If life settles down for angelface46, I may offer to send some of these books on to her, but the physical cardboard box will be replaced first. Meanwhile, my sinuses have been acting up, so I'm off in search of some coffee grounds ( http://www.bookcrossing.com/---/478980 ). :s

Haven't heard back from angelface46, so I'm guessing BookCrossing is not a high priority in her life right now (she has other issues to deal with). If (hopefully when) that changes I'll offer to send her any of these books that I still have, but otherwise they will gradually be disbursed to find other homes.
