Wishlist top 3

Hello all

As some of you may remember I used to run a wishlist thread (the wishlist at the time was unavailable)

The idea was, you posted your top 3 wishes from your wishlist and somebody may be able to help.

There is no guarantee that anyone will post to you. There is no expectation that you will receive anything. it is up to the individual.

I decided to restart this. Have made a new thread as many memebers have "left" since the last one and many members have joned. wishes granted, deleted or just changed.

so what are the top three books you wish to read.

(again, I stress no gurantee or expectations wished will be filled or that books have to be sent.)

Edited my list a bit.

I haven't actually added that to my wishlist yet, but I have recently become engrossed in the world of "Metro 2033" by Dmitry Glukhovsky. I've read the first two books in the series (by Glukhovsky himself), but apparently several other authors have joined in the franchise. I'd be excited about anything related -- maybe just a pm from other people who enjoy this series and would like to exchange thoughts?

The Day the World Came to Town
It's the story of how the people of Gander, Newfoundland gave comfort and lodging to strangers just after September 11, 2001.
Profile Image
Re The Day the World Came to Town-I think copies of this book are quite rare. I had wanted to read it for a long time before I actually did. I even joined a ring or ray that stalled. My library couldn't easily get a copy so in the end I downloaded it to my Kindle which didn't cost much at all. I made it part of my Christmas present from my husband. That's just an idea for you although I don't know if you have a Kindle of course....... I really enjoyed it too!
