found book with no BCID

Just picked up a book (Too Much Tuscan Sun) at the coffee house and the FREE BOOK stamps are on the book but in the cover there is no BCID on the line?
Any way to recover the BCID so the book can be logged?
Thanks

Hi, and welcome! Congrats on finding a book!

Re the BCID: first, look through the book to see if there's a BCID written somewhere less-than-obvious; people sometimes put the number on a flyleaf (front or back), or on a title page.

If there isn't any number in the book at all, please post the specific place (city, state, country, name of coffee house) where you found it; if there are recent release notes for a book of that title it could lead to the correct copy, which would show who released it, and once you know that you can try sending a Private Message to that person to ask for the BCID.

... or send those, plus the title, to Support (through the contact link at the bottom of the page) and they'll probably be able to tell you the BCID, if there is one.

For some reason, you sound rather... spammy.
